Webhook Ban-Logging

This one is pretty self-explanatory. You put in a specific Webhook ID in the settings (If a Discord Bot will ever be developed this could just be made into a channel link or ID) And it just logs any bans made by Admins, including the reason, time, alt account prevention etc. I’ve actually done something like this in the past but it only sent the webhook after the user got unbanned and rejoined the experience. One could just make it a setting whether it’s all commands that’d be logged or just the banning but that’s another can of worms.

Okay for those looking for an answer to this in v2, I am working on it and will go ahead and post it here when I can! This was something I already did in v1, however that version breaches the new license.

discord webhook support in general is something i'd love to explore, so thanks for this suggestion! one thing if i remember off the top of my head: discord doesn't like it when you use discord as a place to log/store bans, so will need to double check their tos before making it.

lets also add your:
;webhookMsg -- sends a message to the webhook to test it https://forum.hdadmin.com/p/g11epz9ecvkmagl

idea here too so that we have it in one shared space. thanks mav!

I did debunk this pretty recently. You could send HTTP requests from Roblox to Discord as recently as June this year, I believe you still can. The blocking is mainly an issue when you overuse the request feature, so that is when a proxy would generally be considered at least in my eyes.

Oh whatttt. You are correct.
That's interesting, didn't notice that previously. I've removed my factually incorrect comment now 😉

No worries!! It's a pretty common misconception I've seen float around on the devforums as well. 🤙
